Welcome to Flint Stone & Bone Creations! Owned by yours truly, Flintknapper, Stanley Payne and managed and designed by his biggest fan, best friend and partner, Becky! We created Flint Stone & Bone Creations in October 2005, one step at a time. We were on our way back from a Knap-In at the Cross-Eyed Cricket Campground in Lenoir City, Tennessee and discussing our dream of launching our own business so that when we retire in about 10 years, we'll have it established to carry us on in our retirement years. We came up with "Flint Stone & Bone Creations". We felt this was the perfect name for our business! The first thing we did was have a vinyl banner created to display at our booth where we set up at shows. Then we took that and made business cards to match. Over the past year we have grown 200%!! Hence, now the website! It has been very exciting and rewarding for the both of us. We stay busiest in the Spring and in the Fall of the year setting up at various Native American Festivals, Pow Wows and Knap-Ins across the southeast. It IS a lot of hard work, but we enjoy it tremendously! We have real jobs to maintain, so sometimes it can be a very hectic and stressful lifestyle. Stan has been flintknapping for approximately 15 years. Once he learned the basics, he was hooked! He made many types of arrowheads for many years and still does to this day, but he REALLY enjoys creating one-of-a-kind stone knives. He even presented a huge dagger to President George Bush in March of 2005. (Click here to see the Bush Knife.) Shortly thereafter, he was a featured artist at Gallery East Art Gallery in Montgomery, AL. (Click here for photos) This site features some of his best work. Most of what you see are now owned by proud collectors, and there are a few are for sale at this time. Click on the Sale Items link at top of page. There will be more in the making. So, please be sure to save this site to your favorites and keep a check on things. We hope you enjoy your visit and please come back to see us and check for updates! |

This bird is one of the eagles who soars over the ballfield at the start of an Auburn game. Everyone got their picture made with this magnificent bird! |
